Dearest reader,

Did you know it has been two and a half years since I started this blog, Start Your Meeples, in order to have a space to talk about board games? I know – it’s crazy right?

One of the best things about the board game industry is how welcoming it is, and how it is ultimately about sitting around a table with friends, having a great time.

Two and a half years ago I started a board game blog, this blog, under the idea that it would develop into a community. Starting it was honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made, and it has opened the doors to places I never thought I would go, meeting awesome people I never thought I would meet, and exploring games I never thought I would get to play.

Now, this past week, with the help and encouragement of friends, I started a Facebook page.

So, Start Your Meeples is now on Facebook! The goal is to update it regularly with updates when we post articles, but also to post news we find interesting about the board game world.

If you enjoy gaming and enjoy reading articles on this blog then please feel free to give us a like and a follow. This blog would be nothing without the people who read it, who share it, who like articles, and who comment, so the Facebook page is another space to help the community grow.

At the moment it is small, but it is mighty, and with your help we can turn it into a community of awesome gamers the LIKES OF WHICH THE WORLD HAS NEVER SEEN!

Or…failing that…just an awesome group of gamers who can share their love of the game together.

If you have friends who are gamers, then sharing with them would also be super mega-awesome of you.
